Dealing with fertility issues can often be a physical and emotional rollercoaster for patients. Since 1985, Jennifer Thie, MD, has provided a helping hand in leading patients through this journey. A pioneer in the region's reproductive medicine field, she combines her advanced medical and surgical training with a participatory approach to patient care.
Fellowship-trained at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Thie provides medical and surgical treatment for fertility and gynecology issues. She specializes in issues of infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and treating polycystic ovarian syndrome, a hormone imbalance which can result in irregular periods, increased hair growth and ultrasound changes in the ovaries. She is an expert gynecologic surgeon and utilizes the latest surgical advances, including the daVinci Surgical System®, to treat many uterine conditions and endometriosis. As a certified menopause practitioner, she evaluates patients experiencing menopause and early menopause symptoms and discusses the benefits and risks of menopause treatment options. She is certified by the North American Menopause Society as a menopause practitioner.
Dr. Thie has a love for live music, is a quilter and a collector of art pottery and antique buttons. She enjoys traveling to exotic places and exploring other cultures with her husband.
