About Mohammad Sheatt
Mohammad Sheatt, MD's, interest in science and people led him to medical school. But it was his internal medicine residency that inspired him to focus his expertise in pulmonary/critical care and sleep medicine.
Dr. Sheatt relies heavily on a physician-patient partnership when helping patients overcome their illnesses. He promotes listening as a two-way activity whereby he learns each patient's unique medical condition, and patients learn more about the nature of their illness or disease. And when exercise is part of the treatment plan, as often it is, Dr. Sheatt partners with patients once again by setting an example as an avid swimmer and cyclist.
Dr. Sheatt further advances the expertise of sleep medicine at TriHealth as medical director for the Bethesda Butler County Sleep Center.
His practice focus includes:
- General pulmonary medicine (focus in asthma, COPD, sleep apnea and lung cancer)
- Critical care
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Navigational bronchoscopy
