About Jyothi Joseph-Hayes
A family history of diabetes impacted Jyothi Joseph-Hayes, MD, in a profound way and prompted her to follow a career in medicine. Surrounded by multiple diabetic family members and witnessing the growing diabetes epidemic, she was inspired to do her part to help prevent and treat the disease as an endocrinologist.
Dr. Joseph practices general endocrinology and treats adult patients, age 18 and older, with diabetes and disorders of thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and parathyroid glands. She also works with patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), osteoporosis and other metabolic bone disorders. Serving as a physician, educator, and partner for her patients, Dr. Joseph advocates for patients to take control of their health conditions and treatment plans through education and lifestyle modifications. Her greatest reward as a physician is in witnessing a patient succeed with their treatment plan and improve their overall health.
