About Kathleen M. Raque
Dr. Kathleen Raque provides surgical treatment for benign and malignant breast disease, including breast cancer.
As a board-certified surgeon specializing in breast surgical oncology, Dr. Raque is part of an expert team of cancer care providers working collaboratively to ensure each patient receives individualized care specific to their needs. In her role as surgeon, Dr. Raque consults with patients to provide education and collaborate on decision-making. Her goal is for the patient to feel comfortable not only with the surgical care plan but with Dr. Raque herself as their surgeon.
Knowing that this can be a challenging time for patients, Dr. Raque recommends bringing a family member or friend to their consultation to help understand information and ask questions. She encourages patients to continue asking questions until they have an understanding. And she assures patients they are not alone in this journey. From physicians and clinicians to navigators and nutritionists, TriHealth's multidisciplinary approach to cancer care means there will always be someone by the patient's side along the way.
