About Christine N. Smith
Christine Smith, M.D. is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician. Her clinical foci are in non-operative spine, neuromuscular medicine, and electrodiagnostics (EMG/nerve conduction studies). She enjoys diagnosing medical issues and developing a comprehensive plan. Dr Smith has extensive training in acupuncture and Eastern medicine. While her focus is on Western medicine and she no longer accepts acupuncture patients, she incorporates her knowledge of Eastern medicine into diagnosis and treatment plans.
Prior training included Walnut Hills High School, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, University of California Los Angeles Helms Medical Acupuncture certificate, and Residency in PM&R at University of California at Irvine, where she was chief resident. In 2008, she returned to Cincinnati and joined TriHealth. Dr. Smith is the Associate Medical Director for the PM&R and Pain Division.
