Dr. Halvonik completed his medical training at Albany Medical College in New York. He finished his Internal Medicine residency, and his Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Fellowship, at the University of Cincinnati. He is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Diseases, and is affiliated with the American College of Chest Physicians. He currently treats patients in all aspects of pulmonary medicine.

Dr. Halvonik enjoys the opportunity to care for his patients. He is inspired by the ability medicine provides in making a dramatic difference in someone's life. Outside of work, he likes to spend time fly fishing, golfing, gardening, and traveling.
