About Douglas C. Hingsbergen
Whether serving his country, his community or his patients, Dr. Hingsbergen approaches all areas of life with focused dedication. As a teen in Hamilton, Ohio, he knew from his first days working in a hospital operating room that he wanted to be a surgeon. His surgical focus has expanded through the years to incorporate the latest minimally invasive laparoendoscopic procedures.

He encourages his patients to take a similar action-focused approach when it comes to their health, consulting a physician as soon as they notice a health problem. His practice focus includes:
- Appendectomy, gallbladder and general abdominal surgery
- Breast cancer surgery
- Colon cancer; colon surgery
- Upper endoscopies and colonoscopies
Dr. Hingsbergen is a past president of the Hamilton Fairfield Area Academy of Medicine and continues to live in his hometown of Hamilton with his wife and three children. He enjoys hunting, fishing and target practice as well as cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.
