About Louis C. Thibodeaux
From an early age, Dr. Thibodeaux felt called to be a surgeon. So fascinated with the world of medicine, he became a registered respiratory therapist even before completing his undergraduate degree, continuing to work in this field through medical school. During his general surgery training, Dr. Thibodeaux expanded his expertise to include trauma and vascular surgery. His research has been published in medical journals focusing on laparoscopic, general and cardiovascular surgery. He continues to pursue new technologies in minimally invasive surgery for even greater precision and patient recovery.
His practice focus includes: Advanced wound care, General surgery (gallbladder, colon, appendectomies), Hemodialysis access, Robotic single-site surgery for gallbladder removal, and Trauma surgery.
Dr. Thibodeaux inspires his patients to be in charge of their health. He enjoys partnering with his patients for optimal health and using his skills to improve their quality of life. In his own life, Dr. Thibodeaux enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children's sporting events, and cheering for his hometown New Orleans Saints.
