About Matthew Prather Jones
Matthew P. Jones, MD, treats acute and chronic pain issues for adults patients ages 18 and older, including musculoskeletal conditions, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputations and injuries to the spinal cord. He believes in a team approach to patient care and encourages his patients to have patience and to exercise, inspiring them to stay positive, and to remember there are no overnight results. Dr. Jones wants his patients to appreciate the small changes in their health as victories. He served as the chief resident of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital and is currently serving as the Army flight surgeon for the Army National Guard. Dr. Jones believes in science-based medicine and strong problem-solving and approaches his patients with a calm and comfortable style.
